Since 1930 when H. G. Robertson bought himself a 2 bedroom house on the beach and dubbed it ‘Whitesands Hotel’, Whitesands has indeed grown and become the destination hotel on Kenya’s north coast. The 340 guest rooms deliver a 5 star elegance with their marble floors and onyx tiled bathrooms while still referencing Swahili detailing in both the architectural elements and the furniture that has been used.
