HiDesign organized a forum connecting the Middle East and Africa Designers to suppliers from around the world. The event had a number of seminars with key speakers from within the industry. David T’Kint, Founder of David T’Kint spoke on the topic: Beyond The Concept  – Making Design A Reality. An interesting seminar that engaged a conversation from a different perspective. He discussed the realities of bringing a design to life. Judith Van Vliet, Founder of The Color Authority spoke on the topic: The Power of Color: Shaping Behavior And Changing Perceptions.  She discussed the vital role color plays in our lives and the hold it has on our emotions and explains how to unleash its power.

The rest of the time was divided between meeting suppliers specializing in products ( Lighting, fabrics, Artefacts, equipment)  for the hospitality industry and interacting with fellow designers from the Middle East. The suppliers included Ganda Blasco, Kriskadecor, Carnegie, Frankelite, Tekna, and more. A great experience of learning about trends in design, cultures, and products which was a commendable effort on the part of the organizers.
